I must be crazy....

So, I have started a second job. I am starting to think I am crazy because my first one is SO BUSY! I will be working even more now. (why? you ask.....) Well, I finished my Masters Degree so my new job is counseling kids who are in need of services. It is through my town's mental health services center. This has been part of my master plan all along and I am taking that step forward. By being a counselor now, I have the job I need for my 2000 hours of internship for me to become a LMHC (licensed mental health counselor). That goal is a couple years down the road but I am excited/scared out of mind to be start counseling others. I received my first three cases today and am going back on Friday to get seven more. So I am starting with ten kids. This job is possible because I am considered a "Masters Level Counselor" Contract Position which means I make my own hours, I see the kids when I want to and I make all my time. So I will be able to do it around my current job as a case worker with Social Services.

Also I am starting a class in two weeks about marriage and family counseling (so I can learn how to do that) so pretty much I am about to be VERY busy seven days out of seven....... I need to remind myself (often) that I take one day at a time and to always remember my goal.
