New Mattress!

I have been in need for a new mattress for some time but this past week when I started having some back problems I knew I could not put it off any longer.

So most people would probably go to a mattress store and pick a new set out.....well, not this girl :o) what I love about craigslist is how I can go MONTHS without looking at it at all and then I have a need for something and I can go to the site and find exactly what I am looking for.

This experience was no different. I found a full size mattress and box spring that was recently posted and called the lady to talk about what she had. It was listed as new mattress/boxsprings for $100. I was skeptical because that is how I approach most situations. On the phone she told me that she and her husband used to have a company where they sold mattresses and they had to close due to the economy and they have some left over they are selling from their home.

Still not sure about it, I went to her house to take a look with my own eyes. Sure enough they have some twin, full and king size mattresses for sale. I found a full size PILLOW TOP set and checked it all out and was very impressed. So I called my dad who so sweetly came and helped me pick them up in his truck and we took them to my house. THANK YOU DAD!

Another HUGE thank you goes to my sister in law Tammy who loaded up her four kids and came right over to help unload and get the mattress and boxspring upstairs! We could not have done it without you :o)

I snapped this while at a red light on the way to my house! This afternoon I washed my mattress pad, pillow cases and sheets and just got my bed all made up. I am so excited to go to sleep tonight :o)

I am so thankful for another successful craigslist experience. This brings the list to: dishwasher, new set of pots and pans, bookcase, best couch EVER, cutest side tables, chair for my living room that goes perfectly with my couch (MIRACLE!), pink desk chair(love it!), vacuum, washing machine, dresser and now mattresses.
