So often for my own blog posts I post interesting stories or quotes that I have stumbled across from another blog or from the Internet. I share it here because I like it so much.
Today I was reading a blog I go to often and came across a great quote. While looking online for the book and info on the author I found another great quote by the same author, so I am sharing both here.
This is the one I found while searching:
"Do not resent your place in the story. Do not imagine yourself elsewhere. Do not close your eyes and picture a world without thorns, without shadows, without hawks. Change this world. Use your body like a tool meant to be used up, discarded, and replaced. Better every life you touch." N.D.Wilson (Notes from the Tilt-A-Whirl: Wide Eyed Wonder in God's Spoken World)
And here is the quote I read today from another blog. What a great quote!!
"The world is rated R, and no one is checking IDs. Do not try to make it G by imagining the shadows away. Do not try to hide your children from the world forever, but do not pretend there is no danger. Train them. Give them sharp eyes and bellies full of laughter. Make them dangerous. Make them yeast, and when they’ve grown, they will pollute the shadows." N.D.Wilson (Notes from the Tilt-A-Whirl: Wide Eyed Wonder in God's Spoken World)
